@Shore Service is Avalon and Stone Harbor, New Jersey's premier beach rental and concierge service supplying luxury linens and towels as well as beach equipment and home essentials direct to your vacation property.

Located on Dune Drive in Avalon since 2012, we are the only such service that operates exclusively on and from the island.

Whether you simply don’t want to have to pack (and wash and dry and fold) your linens for your trip or you are looking to have your beach house fully prepared for your arrival, let us take care of it for you.

Sisters, Mary and Christina McNamara have been working together in Avalon and Stone Harbor since the 1980's.

Thanks to a $700 investment made by our father in 1954, we spent our childhood summers in Avalon, NJ.

Early summers were spent playing in the sun and surf and teenage years were spent working hard all over the island, babysitting, waitressing, cleaning homes, selling buns at the bakery, the list goes on and on. 

When post collegiate jobs were getting in the way of summers at the Shore, we purchased Kohler's Bakery. After sixteen successful years baking, the business was sold and a few summers were taken off in order to enjoy the island with our young children.

​But, with the kids a little older, it was time to get back to business. 

We have both traveled extensively and understand what a true vacation is. Spending time in some lovely hotels and resorts, and some not so lovely, has taught us how to make time away from home relaxing and fun. We understand that when you work hard your vacation should be a little indulgent. 

We also understand that it can be the little things in life that can make all the difference. A good night's rest on beautiful sheets, a bed made upon arrival, a stocked pantry. Each of these things can make your vacation that much nicer.
